Our founding circle includes Israeli civilians displaced from northern communities, Lebanese expatriates who left because Hezbollah’s grip made ordinary life impossible, and a handful of professionals - in technology, healthcare, finance, agriculture, journalism, and the law - who decided that they would rather build something modest and real than wait for someone larger to do it for them.
We carry the Israeli flag on this site because honesty matters more than camouflage. There is no version of peace between Israelis and Lebanese that begins with one side pretending not to be itself. We extend respect, not concealment. The Lebanese citizens who work with us know exactly who we are and what we stand for - and they have chosen, deliberately, to stand with us.
From private conversations to a funded programme.
The idea began in late 2024, as the latest round of war between Israel and Hezbollah inflicted yet another wave of devastation on Lebanese villages and northern Israeli towns. A small group of Israelis displaced from their homes near the Lebanese border found themselves in contact with Lebanese citizens - some still in Beirut, more scattered across Paris, Berlin and Stockholm - who had reached the same exhausted conclusion.
Over several months, those conversations became commitments. Commitments became funded projects. Funded projects became, in 2025, the association you are now reading about. We are deliberately small, and we will grow only as fast as we can grow honestly.

Peace is not built in a single room. It is built wherever Israelis and Lebanese can meet without an audience, find a problem they both want to solve, and trust each other long enough to try.
There are two flags. They will remain different.
We considered, and rejected, many names that would have softened the project into something more abstract. Peace, in any honest sense of the word, is not the disappearance of one flag into the other. It is the willingness of each flag to stand near the other without raising a fist.
We are not asking anyone to apologise for being who they are. We are asking them to recognise that the person across the border is, also, who they are.
Naming what stands in the way is not optional.
Hezbollah has been the single largest obstacle to Lebanese-Israeli normalisation for nearly forty years. It has imposed wars on Lebanon that the Lebanese never voted for. It has executed Lebanese citizens who disagreed with it. It has filled southern Lebanese villages with weapons that turned those villages into targets.
To speak about peace between our peoples without naming this is not neutrality; it is evasion. We do not evade. At the same time, we do not confuse Hezbollah with the Lebanese people. The Lebanese citizens we work with are our partners, not our adversaries.
